I tried to post the receipt on page one but by the time I get it big enough to read (76Kb) it's too big for the forum (17Kb Max). By the time I reduce it to 17 we're back to where we started. Sorry guys. BTW, evgenyb's method works but with a couple of hitches. They are; 1) post the copy to your word processor, 2) mouse click on the image once to get a frame around it and hold the button down. Do this at the lower right corner, 3) now you can press the space bar and hold it down while you drag the corner diagonally until you can read it. This happens pretty fast so be ready. If the image disappears it's because the mouse button wasn't down when you held the spacebar. Just paste it again (it will be on the clipboard from your previous copying).

    Blessings,
    Chiz

Snagged one of these bad boys up today at a HD that was kinda close. Then I came home & planed some poplar....on my dad's 735. LOL Mine is still sitting in the box in my garage at the moment.

I can scan the receipt & post if it will help anyone. Also a suggestion; if you find one at a store & it's in another town, you can purchase it by phone with a credit card & have it waiting on you when you get there. That way you don't have to worry about it being bought out from under you during the trip.

From what I understand, it is not regional so much as volume related--the bottom 300 stores in sales have gotten markdowns from corporate Home Depot to clearance out many items. Other Home Depots will not have gotten the markdowns--they will still be carrying the items. YMMV on whether any individual store not affected by the markdowns will honor them or not. The markdowns last month were company wide--the current ones are not.

Toolman0701 your post made me think.. I went and checked one of the smaller HD and sitting there in the "clearance" tool area were 2 band saws and a drill price not labeled but being sold at the clearance prices. The jointer was at "301.00"
