    DeWalt 735, $270 at H.D.

Home Depot is dropping the DeWalt 735 from its line of tools and offering steep discounts on that planer. As low as $270. You may have to shop around but its a great planer at that price.

That price hasn't made it here yet, it's still $649.

Same on their web site. I'll probably check at one or two stores on my drive to Tahoe Saturday.

OTOH I have an AP1300 and it has done well by me.

Give it time its coming as DeWalt is still keeping the 734 in their stores. Ask a store manager what,s the best he can do you might be surprised.

Could you post a larger copy of the receipt? For anyone wanting to try a price match we are going to need one the manager can read.

Jon, you can copy it and paste it into word, then make it 200%, then print it. It's readable at that zoom.

The HD's around here have never stocked the 734, only the 735. I wonder if this closeout of the 735's isn't a regional thing?

My understanding is because of cost. The 734 sell for less and therefore more marketable than the higher priced 735.

                      Zooming makes it unreadable.

Likewise. Certainly nothing that I could get Lowe's to match, that's for sure.

                          Receipt for DeWalt 735

                          Hi Tommy,
The problem is the resolution (dpi) that the receipt was originally scanned at. If you could scan it at a higher resolution, perhaps 200 dpi or 300 dpi, I'm sure we can print it and all would appreciate it, especially me!

                          Thanks

                            Another Scan

There is a usable scan on the Sawmill Creek website.
