    What kind of deal is this?

    Used Powermatic 24" Bandsaw - $1700

    Like New!! 3 HP 230Volts with Rails and Fence
    Table tilts 45* Right ans 10* Left, Foot Brake - 4"
    Dust Port, Manufactered 06/07 to see or questions
    $ 1700.00 out the door

    These go new for $4400+tax or so... what is the used value?
    Never met a bargain I didn't like.

    probably a good deal if you need that much saw.

        Couple of thoughts- value is what someone is willing to pay, normally half of new is good for an item in good shape that's not too old.
        I'd check to make sure it's not 3phase motor. I know some folks buy & use such motors with convertor equipment but it's an additional expense and not real energy efficient.
