If there's anything left I'll post back but it will take days to get the rest of them packed up.

i never got a confirmation email once i placed my order. Just a paypal payment confirmation. Oh well.. Guess it was only a few bucks so I am not too worried about it. But I hope I get them! This was such a great deal.

Everyone should get theirs. Even found 100 sets of the ones that didn't have the issues so worst case they'll go out. Only problem is getting them all out. We got so hammered that it's taking a while and I haven't been in town to help. Oh well, hope the deal is worth a little wait.

Got mine today, thanks Tommy, Charles and Brian! I hope the page comes back up, I can't remember the specifics other than a labelling problem and want to make sure I mark them correctly!

                        Holbren,

I tried to find them and the link appears to be disabled. Do you still have any available? Would love to order 1 or 2 sets.

                        Thanks!

                        Tom

got mine, i think the boxes are worth $2 a piece. Maybe the hardware on the boxes is worth $2 without the box. well, Barely.

OK someone remind me, what exactly were the faults with this set... (description was removed from Holbren's site) appears to be:
                          slot labeled 7/32 bit missing
                          slot labeled 15/32, which is .469, bit actually measures .486 = ~31/64" (1/2" undersized by 1/64th) x .926 long
                          slot labeled 31/64, which is .484, bit actually measures .730 = ~47/64" (3/4" undersized by 1/64th) x .792 long

disclaimer - HF calipers, could be all wrong but I doubt it.

I had noticed before that Brian took the descriptions down pretty quickly, so I made a copy:

We have 1,000 of these sets with minor issues which is why they are only $2.00. We measure the 15/32" at 61/128" and the 23/32" bit is marked incorrectly on the lable but measures proper. There are no other issues and the bits are equal in quality to our regular set. This set has a 61/128" and 23/32" straight bit for 1/2" and 3/4" undersized plywood.

                            Shank = 1/2"
                            C3 Carbide Thickness = .100"

                            Maximum RPM = 24,000
                            Router Table Required = No

OK, so all you guys who bought more than one set need to ship me one.

Just got mine a few minutes ago. I haven't had a chance to try them but they look very sharp - great bits AND in a WOODEN BOX! I'm embarassed that Brian only charged us $2 for these. I don't buy bits often but I'll certainly keep Holbren in mind the next time I do a project. Thanks Brian.
