Out of stock already! That was a heck of a deal...

Once again another "Out of Stock" at Heavy Duty Tools by the time I get to see it. I think I'm going to stop visiting this site as their "deals" always seem to be sold out. Probably not, but it almost seems like they offer these super deals but only have 1 or 2 units to sell. This happens often enough that you'd think that they would have more units to sell when they offer these specials. Oh well, at least a few people got a great deal.

I believe they had 40 to sell....22 with the current deal. They do offer some great deals occasionally, and people really move quickly on them.

That's correct according to the man who lists them. He's looking for something else to bundle in with the others, so keep an eye on the link because they are sure to go fast once they go up.

Same here, the woodnet forum tool sharks will get at any good deal fast since some I think have that site open all day and night long. I never bother to even look at a HDT sale anymore, too frustrating.

I gave up on HDT a few years ago. He has a good marketing tool with the 'deals' that generates traffic and a frenzied attitude. In a way, it's like Black Friday Door Buster Deals. Some people get intense about the deals and will camp out. Others people have a life and aren't going to camp out to save a few bucks.

There are some woodnet members thats seem to buy anything at all that is at a good price then later are selling it often for less. I do not get the logic, except with Routers and clamps :-)
