Kinda weird. Seems to be trying to capitalize on his father's [limited] fame in order to get retail+ for those tools.

Not really that limited, but probably better known in his native Canada.

the guy was in 200 movies and TV shows, I think mostly as a character actor, but that's pretty prolific, nonetheless.
I recognize his picture but would not have been able to give his name. So what exactly comprises "famous"?

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

A lot of Chinese stuff I've never heard of. I wonder if the coast sees more of these machines because shipping trans-US is too expensive for distribution. Anyway, kind of oddball equipment if you ask me.

Obviously the father thought a lot of the Taiwan tool to buy so much and I have seen much more overpriced stuff on CL listed by bereaved relatives.

this one make me think twice though

His performance in "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" was simply awesome.

He was also the "Bad Guy Turned Good Guy" in the "Outlaw Josey Wales", one of my favorite Clint movies.

He was a good villian and pompous heel type, like dean Wormer in "Animal House".

He is actually quite famous in Canada. His series Wojeck was based on a real Doctor (Morton Shulman - famous in his own right) Wojeck was copied by Hollywood as the TV series Quincy, M.E.

He left Canada to go to Hollywood for more $$. He didn't get the $$, but got work.
