I just read the reviews and figured it out! It will lighten the weight of your tool bag because it is made of titanium!

No need to rush out and buy that Rockler T-track. That's the same price it's been on sale for at Rockler.com for many many months.

I've bought two for the same price one in June and one last week. A friend bought 10 over three months at the same price.

The product ships in a cardboard tube with 4 color art on the outside describing t-track benefits. Looks like it's a promo package designed to introduce t-track and sell more volume.

I agree the price is not spectacular, I bought several about a year or so ago at I think $12 each and free shipping. What really interested me was that Rockler was selling on Amazon. I expect that it opens up a whole new market for them which can only be good for the woodworking industry and the woodworker in general. If you just search on Rockler at Amazon you get over 6K of results. It seems that their entire catalog is there. With Amazon free shipping it's cheaper to order Rockler stuff from/through Amazon than from Rockler itself. On the other hand if you search there for Woodcraft you don't come up with their catalog or even anything from them.

It will be interesting when the current economic debacle is over to see if Rockler or Woodcraft survive and/or which is in the better shape and how much of the credit/blame goes to Amazon.
