Quick Grip mini 6" 4-packs $16 @ Menards

Stopped in at Menards last night and saw Irwin Quick Grip mini 6" 4-packs on sale for $16 change. These are the same ones that Home Depot had for ~$20 around Christmas and Rockler had on sale on their website some time ago. I already had 4, but picked up another 4 pack. I find that their size is great and they get used all of the time.

yeah, that would be a real good buy, $4 each... I have more than a dozen or so of these all over the shop, at least 8 next to my work bench, they're my "go-to" clamp!
Lowes still has these, too, for $20 per pack, They also have the two pack for $20, go figure. If you get some look for the blister pack that says bonus, 2 free clamps and get that one. Two clamps are visible but the 2 bonus clamps are on the back of the blister pack and not real obvious. At lowes, most of the time they are on the end caps near the tools. Look for blue and yellow packaging.

They are very handy. While not providing as much force as some clamps, not only can they be tightened with the one hand holding them in place, but they can be loosened with one hand as well. I keep a row of them clamped to the floor joist directly over the workbench in my low-ceilinged unfinished basement shop. If needed, it can be on my work faster than I can get a different clamp off the rack.

D'oh! I bought a two-pack at Lowe's recently. Didn't know to look for the four-pack...

I have them in 6", 12" and 50" and they are my favorite clamps by far.

The 6" clamps make a great little present for first time homeowners who may not have a very deep toolbox or experience in home repair. The "extra hands" these clamps can provide are truly priceless.

Here's the Irwin 4-pack, p/n 5464 for $19.99. Not real obvious there's 4 in the package because the 2nd pair are hidden in the back. But the label clearly says it. Your choice 2 for $20 or 4 for $20. or the OP's deal at Menards for $16 is even better.
