I'm surprised this posting appears to have so little response. Are F style clamps considered obsolete in view of the development of "parallel clamps" such as the Bessey K bodies? If not, then anyone wishing to build up their clamp inventory should really check out these heavy duty F style clamps. They are much more heavily constructed than the light duty F style clamps sold at HF and elsewhere. Also, the jaws are reversible (so the clamp can be reconfigured as a spreader) and can be positioned anywhere along the bar. At the Big Lots in my area, they are all priced at $8.00 each, regardless of length (I've seen them in lengths from 6" to 36"). I did notice that SOME of the clamps exhibited what I would call poor quality control in that the tightening screws were manufactured off center and/or off axis, so look them over carefully.
F-Style have loads of uses and have have many along with parallel clamps and pip clamps. I havent had a chance to vist a local BLs to see if they have any.

Keep checking the store. There was a posting about a year ago for an item and it was about 2 months after the posting that the item finally appeared in the store near me. Good luck.
I found (8) of the 36" clamps at the Big Lots in Greensboro, NC. I bought (4) of these at $8.00 each. As stated in one of the earlier replies - these clamps are heavy.
The one near me used to have eight 24" and four of the 6" ones. I just had to lug 'em home. I would have gladly heaved some of the 36" ones around, but there were none.
I found them in Toledo, Ohio at the Glendale store. Appreciate the heads up as they are incredible buys. They are really beefy and I was surprised to see a few of them which were 36 inches and several had a deeper reach than others in the jaws, so may go back for more. Anyone who uses a clamp should checkout their Odd Lots!
They can really deliver some clamping pressure, and the 3" jaw depth is nice too. Watch out for the pads, they slide off easily and like with most black pads they'll discolor your wood.
