A LOT of hardwood in East TX, $2250

Caught this on Houston CL. Close to 1800 board foot of various hardwoods for $1.25/bd ft Sounds like a good deal, a little too much for me though.

If you had $2200 to spare and a place to store it, you could go into the hardwood business for awhile!

Sounds like a great deal. Isnt there enough of the Texas BT3 Clan to go in together and buy it up. The 350ish walnut and white oak has got be worth around $1500 on its own if you were to go and buy it at $4ish a Bd ft. If the Oak is qtr sawn it would be worth even more.

That would be enough to keep a few of you in projects for a while or you could part out some of the stock locally for $2.50 and somebody else would still be getting a good deal

        Wow, that's fairly close too.

All that would completely fill my little shop and the wood storage addon. Glad we haven't closed our gas lease deal yet... or I'd be renting a truck real soon.

There's a few guys on woodnet who are talking about getting this I believe. Might want to talk to them. Seems like the Cherry is in high demand.
