I just bought a reconditioned 12 inch dual bevel Hitachi CMS for just under $150 from this site:

I went ahead and got a 90 tooth blade and with shipping it came to about $230. I think that is a very good deal, especially for a dual bevel CMS. I wanted a dual bevel for two reasons. First, it lets you cut with the wood on one side of the saw regardless of what you are doing. Single bevel sometimes requires you to put the wood on the other side of the saw which is not always possible (if the piece is long and the space is tight). The other key advantage I see is when cutting crown upside and backwards against the fence. With a dual bevel the motor is up and out of the way so your capacity is not more limited on one side of the blade.
If you do not care about the dual bevel, they have a 12 inch for $130 and 10 inch for even less.
