I went to the Friday opening of The Woodworking Shows in Houston

and the biggest bargains I saw were the Ridgid tool booth.
14-inch bandsaw, $249
13" thickness planer $229
6" floor standing Jointer $269
osc belt sander $129
from what I recall of the prices at HD these are exceptional.
I don't know about the other tools because I'm not all that familiar with them but if 100% of what I know is at good sale prices then I imagine the rest are, too.
the jointer is $399, Planer $369, bandsaw $369 currently at HD. Sander $199
Buy first three you'll save close to $400.
They're here Sat and Sunday, too, then on to another city. Maybe the same deals there, if they're exhibiting.
