Looks like a deal on a bench grinder

I've been looking at upgrading my bench grinder, and it almost appears that this is a misprint on the price at $19.95

I wonder if it will be like the sears things of past.

Of course I'd rather have a $300 unit, but I couldn't pass this up.

I did check on the factory page, and the same price shows up. For $19.99 this grinder looks like a very good deal. Go for it. Grizzly offers some very good items.

I've seen these at Grizzleys tent sales, let us know how it works out. I was alittle worried about it being only one third horsepower because most six inch grinders are one half horse. ace 01

I clicked on the link and get a runtime error. Maybe it was a pricing error?

EDIT, It appears the WHOLE site is down.

HD sells a 6" Ryobi grinder for $40.
its a bit more but includes a light and no shipping charges, but I guess you'll have to pay sales tax. Still its a bit nicer grinder, looks better fit and finish, w/ gooseneck light, and angle slot for bits etc.
They have been known to go on sale once in a while, too.

I picked up a Ryobi 6" grinder on Black Friday for $20.00. It didn't have a light but it seems to work pretty good. I think it sells for $35-40 not on sale.

You can buy it off amazon for the same price, sold by grizzly too. It seems like it is the correct price. not sure if I should pull the trigger, I have been wanting one, but was looking for an 8"

It looks a lot like the Tool Shop brand I have seen at Menards on sale in the mid 20 dollar range. Not sure if they carry it anymore but they also have good sales on Wilton bench grinders which probably would cost you the same if you take shipping into account if needed. I bought a Dewalt on Amazon for $75 shipped a while back. I don't use it often but it is smooth and very powerful with very nice adjustable rests. Well worth the $75 to me.

I have the Ryobi 6" with the light. It's fine for most things, but I'd prefer it had more power. I use a wire brush to clean metal for welding and it bogs down very easily.
