Rocky, that's real easy to do. You expect table saws to come with the fence, rather than buying seperately. It can make it real confusing. Basically, the 979 is everything except the fence. With the Bies, it is the 36-982 kit, which sells for over $800 everywhere I've looked.
I paid about $450 for mine (with tax, local sale), plus about $90 for the Bies with tax. So, for about $550, I got a saw that sells for between $800 and $900. Not too bad for a good ole boy from Talladega County, Alabama.
