Received your message about the denied post card. The reason for the postcard is not that Home Depot is not an authorize retailer is that they were not participant in this promotion. This was an independent retailer promotion. Home Depot is no included in this promotion. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Well, BS, ,as far as I'm concerned! The time to tell me that HD is excluded is not after I complain, it's before I buy the product! I will carry this further and suggest that anyone else affected do the same. I sent a rebuttal email, requesting that they send me a new carton to return the product to HD because the old one was ruined when I cut out the bar code . If that gets me nowhere, i'll start making phone calls. If enough people complain they may start to see the error of their ways!
There is nothing that Dewalt makes so well that that there isn't a competing product out there that is just as good. Porter Cable and Skil also!

In case you didn't look at the other posting, I'm repeating it here. I called, asked tom speak to a 'higher power', explained the problem, was told that the HD rejection postcards were sent out in error, that the rebate was good for purchase from HD.
I would not expect them to look up the postcards sent out and correct them, if you are in this category of getting the rejection postcard, I would call and ask to speak to someone personally, don't accept an email.
