I'm not sure if this is a bargain alert or a bargain question.
While looking for parts for my 22811 (BT3000) on the Sears parts site I noticed the belts were priced at $9.20 each! On eBay they're $38/pair.
I then checked Sears for belts for the 21829 (BT3100). The belts listed there are $19.77 ea.
I ordered a pair of the cheaper belts, for spares, and to my untrained eye they appear to be identical.
Anybody else noticed this anomaly? Any guess as to when Sears spots the screw-up (if any)?
BTW, thanks again to all who helped with my shim replacement episode.
FWIW, I lubed the shims with white lithium grease. I've restored Corvairs for 35 years and white lithium has always worked best on aluminum surfaces. So far, so good. I plan to pull major quarterly maintenance just to check the shim situation.

. How do you get to the belt for the 22811 on Sears parts website? When I use the Sears model number I get nothing.
