Quick Grips 6" minis 4 for $20 at Lowes

I just succombed again, I noticed that Lowes has the 2 pack with 2 free, i.e. 4 pack, for $19.95. That's $5 bucks per clamp which with the rmuch better quality and utility than any HF F-clamps for only a buck or two more. It's totally one-handed and non-marring, a great clamp.

These are the Mini 6" quick grips by Irwin, the SKU number on my receipt is 96054. They are in blue boxes on the end caps in the tools section, they have lots of them. Each box has about 20 Blister pack. The card is about 10 inches long, not like the pic below. Two clamps are visible on the front and two hidden on the back makes it look like only two if you don't look carefully and the sign says two clamps but then in small yellow print it says two free.

I picked up another 4 today, I already have a lot, but it is my most favorite, go-to clamp for most stuff.

The web page pic at lowes just shows 2 but you get four.

There has been no telling how many times I've walked past these giving them a quick glance & yes I thought it was only 2. Guess I'll have to go back & recheck & get another pack if it's true.

I use these things all the time from projects to construction framing. I just wished my tool belt had a place to put them. I also need to get a couple of 24"ers that can be converted to spreader bars. I wished they would put those on sale.

Oh yeah, don't believe those quick help things that tell you to turn the anti-mar caps upside down to keep them from slipping off. Never had that problem until I turned mine upside down. Now they fall off all the time. I guess I could always use some adhesive.

Bingo! 4 in the pack just like you said & the sign says 2. Picked up a pack while I was there. Thanks!

There is no telling how much 2-man work I do by myself with these clamps.

Rockler has the same $19.95 deal on the four-pack...
I guess the stores would have it too.
I hear there was a $5 coupon mailed out recently???

In the most recent Rockler flyer they had a "lucky number" that you take into the store. The number is supposed to be worth $5 to $500. I think I know what mine will be worth.

FWIW, Rockler's latest "Winter Clearance" email has the 6" QuickGrips for $8.99/pair + free shipping.
You might think I haven't contributed much to the world, but a large number
of the warning labels on tools can be traced back to things I've done...

They are the full size QGs, not the minis, a good buy, too.

Is there a difference between the mini's on sale and the 6" quick grips....or are these the same?
What if there is no tomorrow?....there wasn't one today!

The minis are smaller and have a smaller throat depth. The 6" opening is the same but the full size are physically bigger and stouter by about 2X.
I find I use the minis for most things.
