8 Pack Energizer Batteries - 31 cents at CVS

I know this is not a tool but it's a great bargain which we all use: quality BATTERIES for flashlights, remotes or toys you bought your kids?

I just got back from CVS - Energizer AA and AAA 8-packs + D 4-packs are on sale for $5.29. I used this coupon:
$5 Coupon. Paid 31 cents w/tax for the pack and bought 8 packs.

Not sure if this is everywhere...YMMV. Coupon expires this Sat, 12/23
    Good luck and Happy Holidays.

    Thanks! I'll try it...

That's a good catch. But how did you get 8 packs? Says one per customer... Did you go 8 times?

That's their version of a preferred customer card. You can fill out the form and get the card on-the-spot at the register.

You are such a joker I dont know if you are serious BUT I'll bite . . . . 8 pack means 8 batteries in a pack. You know like a 6 pack just two more. Hmmmmm . . . . . 8 pack. That sounds like a good idea.

Definte deal. I've gotten probably close to 20 packs since this deal first appeared on Slickdeals last week.

The AA and AAA are eight packs
The C and D are four packs
              The 9v are two packs.

$.31 each after tax by me.

I usually buy 3 each visit. Only one $5 off coupon will take each time so you simply ask them to ring it up in seperate transactions. No problem whatsoever.

I just got 4 packs, but I had to go to 4 stores. No problem though, 'cause I've got 4 here that I can see standing in one place. FYI, the 9v 2-packs are on sale too. Note: The coupon is good thru Sunday, but the $5.29 sale price is only good thru Saturday, then it's back to $7.99.

I only use Duracell in my insulin pump (i've had problems with using Energizer actually) but I might get my parents to go stock up on 9 volts for smoke alarms.

Sounds like CVS needs to work on their store density distribution....closest one to me is 700+ miles.

They bought out the competing Eckerds chain a couple years back, and kept most of the locations. Two of these four stores are literally a block and a half from each other. Add to that the Walgreens stores proliferating hereabout, and you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a pharmacy...

They were priced at $7.99 here, hardly made it worthwhile to get it.

Herb, I'd have to assume you either didn't get a price check or looked at the wrong ones. I bought some in NYC and in Nassau County yesterday $.31 each.

The $7.99 was on sale thru today for $5.29. Some stores didn't have the sale tags on, and others took them down today in preparation for the new ad tomorrow. All that I bought rang up the sale price OK, so maybe the computers know things...
