Don't know if there is any interest or not, but My local Big Lots have a Midway Video game in an upright cabinet with several games in it for $50.00. I got there as They were loading the last 2 on a truck. They were in a cabinet designed to look like Ms PacMan with controls, if interested might be worth a call. Bill

Dud in thier add they have the game listed for $250...
At $50 its a steal!!!Every tool you own is broken, you just don't know it yet :-) -
If that happened here, my wife would be asking the following two questions to me:
1. Where the #*(&^ are you going to put it?
2. How the U*()&*()&^ are you going to get it off the truck?
Well, she probably would ask this: WHAT THE %^*()& WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!?!"It's a dog eat dog world out there, and I'm wearing Milk-Bone underwear."- Norm (from Cheers)

A scathing "That is why it ended up at Big Lots" review:

For $50, it is a bargain, but I'd think long and hard about $250 - $300.
If anyone is interested in retro-gaming, you need to do some research on MAME. Basically, you can run any or all of the old arcade games on a very modest computer. There are some legal issues to educate yourself about.
Now for the real application for this forum:
Build your own cabinets, control panels, etc!

I built a 2-person control panel a few years back - before I had done any woodworking. Definitely a project I'll revisit one of these days.
Oh and if you can't imagine one in your living room, have a look at this one: http://cmdrtaco.net/jubei/Last edited by dkerfoot; 11-17-2007, 06:24 AM.Doug Kerfoot
