I took a back door approach. I ordered from Sears while it was posted online at HD. I sent Sears a online price match email with screen print of ad. $60 - 10% = $54. I received the unit today. Man that thing has crazy torque!

It sure does. I buried a drywall screw so deep in a PT 4x4 that I'm pretty sure it would've come out the back side!

If anyone have a LOWES receipt from Southern California branch I'd appreciate a copy. One store said they may do it if I had a local branch receipt.

Gotta love the Schroncification! Plays it cool....then.....booyah! He hits one out of the park playing the Sears card.

          Well played Jeff.

BTW, it's currently $143 on Amazon with the holster.

LOL! I figured I had an approximately 32.475% chance of Sears doing this on the first try, with a 7.485% addition that a follow up email would cement the deal. After some of the recent fiasco's I am glad to see them come through.

              Got One !!!!!

Got one today, after going to 3 stores & pleading my case. I got it in Lake Worth, TX. I used the Home depot receipt & the Lowes one. They would not let me have the one with the bonus flashlight or the holster, but thats ok. Man this thing is powerful.

                    Persistence does pay off.

Was off today to celebrate Veterans day. On my way home I stopped by at Lowes and brought my printout of the Ad and figure I'd try one more time. Brought the drill at the register and the young lady at the cash register said this should be no problem. She called over the manager and she showed him the model # on the print out and he said "Awesome deal, dude!" handed his card and she scanned it. The manager then handed out the printout back to me and said happy Veterans day! Then off I go with the drill. I am so happy. To those that have been denied, try it again, you just never know.

I went to my local Lowes yesterday during lunch and everything was going smooth, until the cashier called for the head cashier - and she asked their price compared to the ad - when she heard the difference - she is like, I have to call the manager. Manager looked at the printout and said, we won't match online prices. Now, I've had online prices matched before, but I had no foot to stand on with this crazy deal. I just obliged and went my way.

I'm thinking about trying another Lowes today during lunch.

I picked one up, with flashlight, this morning at Lowes using the HD webpage in this thead, thanks for posting it. I tried at HD last week and it was a no go. Lowes just matched the price and did not beat the price, if figured I should not push my luck and force the issue. I might try to price match at other stores and give them as gifts. Again thank you, this forum is awesome.
