Bosch PS-40 Li Ion Impact Driver $60 - HD Your Mileage WILL Vary

    http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...4&ddkey=Search

You can't buy it online as there is no option, however it is my understanding that a lot of stores are honoring the price.

I don't think so. If it was in B&M store then they would, but I dont think they will match online prices.

$179Can. on www.homedepot.ca. Unbelievable and that at a time when the Canadian dollar buys you $1.07US,
I've always said that we are being shafted by Home Depot in Canada.

Tried to talk to HD manager, but he refused to match internet price. He said they never match the net prices. Is the internet price in this item a typo? I can't understand HD not honoring their own prices. Sears do.

I wonder if some of the HD managers, those that refused to honor receipts or other stores prices on clearence items, have personal reasons for doing so.

I had one "friendly" manager at HD willing to honor their cost of $139, but not the $60 from the web. She alluded to the fact that it must be a mistake since the $60 price is half of their cost.

If anyone buys it at the $60 price, please post your receipt. With the receipt we can get a price match at Lowe's.
What if there is no tomorrow?....there wasn't one today!

Yes their internet price is a typo. Pretty obvious. Lots of B&M stores do not match internet prices. Barnes and Noble is one of those. The overhead of the stores certainly justifies any higher costs.

I don't think it is personal, rather I think it is simply some managers caring about the profitability of their store and others that do not. I think those denying the sale are doing their jobs properly.

                        VERY bummed

Last night my dreams were that I'd go get one the next day (today) so I brought a print of the internet link and after 4 different Home Depot's I couldn't get one because that link is no longer available... the manager said he needed to include a print of the page link to be able to approve... I offered him mine, but he said he needed to print his... he was going to do it till he found that the thing was not available...

Bummed now for a week... I've always wanted an impact driver and this set me over the edge...

If anyone bought a spare, they could make a little money on me....

                        Thanks

scored one. the evening shift people are not nearly as lenient as their younger morning counterparts.

the tool manager told the young cashier to take 10% off for price matching, but he forgot. I wasn't about to be a stickler on that one

No go in Akron. Had the drill, wouldn't match the price. Kinda rude about it too. A simple "Sorry, we don't." would have been enough.

Same here. The Home depot in Naperville,IL was rude. So, I told her, "now I remember why i shop at lowes instead of home depot, you are so rude. And I am going to complain to the Home depot customer service". Usually, they are very good about reprimanding the people involved. I got the name of the desk rep at HD.
