Looks the same as the Harbor Freight Jointer, and i wouldn't be surprised if it came from the same factory. The comments i've read about the HF is that it isn't bad, except the fence is a pain to adjust. Don't forget shipping costs if it Enco isn't a local pickup for you.

Looks very much like the HF, I can tell by the base the position of the fence all the way to the right and the adjustment lever to the far right of the fence.

It does look like the twin of the harbor Freight model. I have the one from HF and have never wanted to upgrade. It goes on sale for about $200 every couple of months at the retail stores.

Yup, it is definitely the HF twin - even the infeed/outfeed handles are the same (you have to "turn" them and they don't have "crank knobs" on them). I have the HF unit and it is a pain to set the fence exactly right, but once set up, why change it?

I upgraded the knives and it has been great ever since. Maybe one day I'll upgrade but for the price, the HF unit is a good jointer.

I believe the free shipping is for smaller items that can be shipped UPS. Looked like a good deal. The planer weights 205lbs & requires truck shipping. When I went throught the order process shipping is 73.00. I think that is from Georgia to Louisiana. May be different from other locations.

              Subtotal $189.95
              Total Tax $.00
              Shipping $73.00
              Total $262.95
