That's got to be a typo error where they undermarked it $1000. Hope you get it at that price though as that is one heck of a saw and would be a fantastic score. I would try ordering one myself if my shop was not in the basement.

I'm with Steve on this. Not as likely to fly under the radar as Amazon.
Now, as for a Amazon price match . . . .Comment

Note: The PM2000 has an odd size table top. Bench Dog CI router table will not fit and other aftermarket rails are problematic to instal. This is per a thread at another forum. This does NOT mean that you shouldn't jump on this as it is one smoking hot deal! I DOES however help me keep my Uni in the shop since I have it outfitted with Bench Dog CI router table, etc.
I wish the best of luck to you folks! I hope it ships. Certainly on other sites they are indicating that WC CS has said it will but we all know how much the average CS rep knows! The upside is the orders could be processed automatically and the item is shipping directly from PM instead of WC so they may not catch it until WC gets their bill from PM and realizes they are $100,000 in the hole!Comment

A better way of saying this would be that the PM2000 has a larger-than-average top. Most cabinet saw tops measure 27" front to back; the PM2000 is 30.5". There's a HUGE amount of space in front on the blade, which is one of the nicest features of this model. There's more support for larger workpieces, and an increased crosscut capacity compared to other brands. Granted, the top size could be problematic for the handful of folks who wanted to install the Bench Dog router table or similar. But the larger top is definitely more a benefit than a liability.
I can't really comment on the aftermarket rail issue. The factory fence system that comes with the saw appears standard and generic to me, but perhaps not.
Smokin' deal indeed -- about a grand less than it should be, as has already been mentioned. I have a hard time believing they'll let many go out the door at this price.LarryComment

Actually the larger table is a huge benefit. And certainly these aftermarket accessories can be made to fit with a little drilling and tapping.Comment

Do You Need a $1250 6" PM Jointer?
From Sawmill Creek . . . .
"Here's the deal - the orders are good, everything looks great. The kicker is, that's NOT a PM2000 that you bought!
- it's their model 60B Jointer. THAT was the correct price/model number for the jointer, and that's why it's looking ok to their customer service -- as a valid order.
Anyhow, this was from Daryl at Woodcraft in Portland, OR. He said Customer Service is scrambling to figure this out and what happened, and he imagines there will be some upset folks when they get their new Jointer in the mail."Comment

here is what i just got in my confirm email, it does say it is a PM2000, with 30" fence, but that doesnt mean the model number doesnt match the description and could still be wrong

They have out-Amazoned Amazon on this one. Betcha the word 'upset' won't cover how some folks feel, especially if they sell their current saw to make room for their new PM purchase without finding out about the change ahead of time.
Hopefully Woodcraft will be in touch with everyone who ordered a jointer in the past day or so.
Wonder what they were thinking when PM jointer sales suddenly went through the roof??Comment
