This fun, functional promo pack from Bosch includes eight 7-1/4-inch circular saw blades bundled together with a football. Embossed with the Bosch logo and stitched with regulation lacing, the football is the grown-up version of a prize in a cereal box.
But while the football is made for play, the saw blades are all business. Their diamond-ground C-3 Dyanite carbide teeth retain a super-sharp edge from start to finish -- holding their edge up to five times longer than standard carbide blades. These outstanding teeth boast tri-metal shim brazing for added impact resistance, and a fully hardened thin kerf plate. The blade itself has an ultra hard body that keeps its accuracy cut after cut. The whole package is treated with a blue anti-friction coating that increases your cut speeds and reduces heat. All together, it adds up to an impressive performance.
These blades are 7-1/4 inches/24-tooth, with a 5/8-inch arbor. Use these blades for a wide variety of circular saw applications. They cut soft woods, hard woods, plastics, and more -- even dimensional or engineered lumber. "
My guess would be that they are good for rough cutting of lumber not for smooth crosscuts and not for ripping sheet goods without some tear out. Just a guess, I don't own these blades.Last edited by ragswl4; 09-02-2007, 11:53 AM.

Mine too! These should make for an inexpensive rip blade, though with limited height. I'll have to try one...you might even get a glueable edge from it.
Edit: Tried one on my TS a while ago. They cut ok...not quite as clean as my Leitz or DW rip blades, but likely glueable as is. Crosscut wasn't even too bad....better than I would have thought. Fine for non-critical cuts, saving your good blade, cutting suspect wood, etc.Last edited by Knottscott; 09-08-2007, 10:54 AM.Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

I know these blades are $10 each in the store, for a 10 pack $58 isn't too bad. Although hard to swallow if you missed the $25 deal. They are really nice blades, and paired with the Bosch C20 ($85 in another thread) they do a terrific job.Comment
