Oh, now that is just plain not fair!! Glad I didn't know about that when I left to get the Bies this afternoon. I went by 3 HDs on my trip, and I would have hit all 3 of them for a chance at that deal! And probably out of my way to 2 others on a different route home if need be. And I have 2 extra in the shop now, gave one away to a friend. I'll use one on the future router table, and one on the future portable planer stand. But I could always find uses for a couple more!!
Congrats on what has got to be the biggest (smallest?) gloat of all time!! Jim.

Those kind of deals don't happen at any of the local BORG's here ... I know for a fact the staff snatch up a lot of the deals before any of us customers ever see them ... by BIL works for one of the BORG's and his garage and basement looks like a tool store as there is tons of stuff still sitting in boxes ...

The last two times I had items to return it took about a half hour. The first time the computer had to be rebooted and the CS rep complained about how antiquated the computer system was. From now on, I won't buy anything at HD unless I am sure I am going to keep it.

I have four NIB from the $14.99 clearance awhile back, and, though tempted, I'm gonna use them, not sell them on ebay for a profit.

If you think I'm driving to ten different stores, you's crazy... And I didn't tell them they were marked down to some ridiculous price. I'm smarter than that. I only told them I heard that they might be closing them out, and did they have any gathering dust somewhere. Most of them said they haven't had this item in their store for a couple years or more.

As if the customer service rep at the counter has any idea about Herc-u-lifts. The receptionist and the front-desk people are usually women who are so busy doing their job and they wouldn't care what deal the lifts are available for. No way I am also going to drive all the stores and waste gas on an item that is extremely rare to find.

No No No... I don't call the CS reps... I call and ask for the tool department. Then, when somebody answers, I ask them "You work in the tools department, right?" I was born in the morning, but not yesterday morning.

Actually about 90.00 originally. First time closed out at 44.00 each. A year later at 29.00, then final time, well, I guess next to final time , at 14.99 ea. A penny each is unbelievable! Wish I could score some more, even at the 15.00 price. Jim.

She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Well, no stores near the Twin Cities have 'em. I dropped by just in case- I could use like 3 of them easily.... But if anyone needs wiper blades, they're clearancing the Rain-X blades for $3.50. I bought two 24"ers for my car, need to see if any other stores close by have the 20" ones to make 2 sets.
