great sound system for your workshop

this really doesn't have to do with tools, but i scored a great deal at Target on a Henry Kloss Tivoli Model 2 w/CD player and credit card size remote

the sound is great. it was formerly 400 bones, and is now selling for 100 bucks (they have the alarm clock am/fm for $49 too). i hooked up my mp3 to it and am really happy with it....great reception.

i got the last one, besides the floor model. if you need a small stereo for a shop, etc, this really hits the spot.

i apologize that this isn't a tool, but it would make a great addition, as i've said a dozen times now

hopefully, you'll still be able to find one.

No aplogies necessary, Cheeky. Tunes are an integral part of the shop for many of us. Hmmm, sounds like a new thread. See ya in "Around the Coffee Pot"

I picked up a Tivoli Model 1 about 2 weeks ago ($120 reg price) for $50 at Target... sounds like you got a better deal.
I seem to own a number of henry Kloss products.
Interesting read, Wiki on Henry Kloss, if you're into Stereos from the 70s and 80s.

Does Target do price-matching? Wondering if its not on sale here would a receipt (hint hint) help?
        Never met a bargain I didn't like.

oh, and if you fail to see a clearance sign, take it to one of the self scanners at the end of one of the aisles for a price check.

They will not price match other stores. They will give you the lower price of something you already bought if they have it on sale within 90 days.
