    Stanley digital calipers

Are these a good buy or not. They're even cheaper than Harborfreight's.

I don't see where it says Stanley. I do see Nieko tools, they made my tachometer, its an OK tool.

I guess these are more or less generic now. Although its possible to make bad calipers, these look OK and very similar to the HF units which are quite good. Under $11 is a great deal!

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

Where do you see Stanley? I see Neiko Tools.

Anyway, this looks identical to mine, though in a different color - the LCD, buttons, knob, case, spare battery etc. are the same. It also looks like the PSI $25 on: http://www.pennstateind.com/store/digical2.html

I don't remember how much I paid, but I think it was between $20 and $30. I've had them for a few years and I think they were well worth the money. Assuming it really is the same tool in a different color, I think $10.75 is a fantastic price.

I think he saw the yellow letters on the end of the ruler that say Stainless and thought it was Stanley.

Seems like a good deal though.

Edit : $7.75 Shipping makes it a lot less of a good deal.

Jeffrey, you're right, it says STAINLESS. My eyes are getting weak, looks like I need new glasses.
          My apologies to everyone.
