I was going to go to HF today and get 4 more pipe clamps then pipes from ACE... at around $15 for clamp, pipe, and tax that's $60 for 4 pipe clamps or $75 for 4 Jet parallel clamps...

Yeah. I could not find any rebate/gift certs on clamps anywhere either.

If you don't mind taking your discount in the form of a gift card, that's an excellent price. Rockler's shipping charges top out at $12.99 for orders of $200.01 or more, so the final cost per clamp would be about $18.80. By comparison, I paid a bit more more than $17 each for the 50" Besseys I bought a year or so ago, and I think that's about as well as anyone here did. If I needed some more long clamps, I'd jump all over this one.

Sale items don't qualify for the gift card. They are excluded by the "other offers" clause in the fine print.

The gift card can be used for any purchase, so to maximize your savings, use it on sale items. Usually power tools are excluded from the rockler specials like this but this time they are included. I purchases a Bosch Colt and the new PC 317 small belt sander pluse a few accessories to go just over the $250 to get a $75.00 gift card. I also ordered some of the Jet clamps.

Normally power tools are excluded but this time they were not. I ordered a Bosch Colt router and the new PC 317 small belt sander, plus a few accessories to go over the $250 threshhold for the $75 card.

That's not what I was just told. I've just been Live Chatting with a Rockler CS agent on another matter, and asked if on-sale merchandise qualified for the gift card promotion. Answer: YES.

IME, the "cannot be combined ..." fine print applies to stuff like stacking a discount code plus a free shipping code. But if you can catch items on sale at a reduced price, that's your good luck.

The clamp qualifies. Try it out online. I tried it out couple of hours back. It takes the price of 2 for 49$ + it tells me about the rebate too. I printed the page out so that I can take it to my local rockler store and buy it there.
