On the other hand $70 for an Incra with a pre-made fence is a pretty nice deal IMO.

Here's a pic of my V27 with Hartville's 36" fence. What I don't like about that setup is that the Hartville fence isn't a direct bolt on with existing holes...I needed to add a backer to make it fit. (...In case anyone spots and questions it, I upgrade the handle on the V27)
So did you mean that the fence's holes do not line up with the slots on the V27?
How'd you make your backer? Is it a big effort?

I want to go for the combo from Hartville too, so it would be a help to know beforehand what to expect.

      thanks.

Correct..the fence slot doesn't line up with the miter gauge's holes. Not difficult at all...I just used a piece of hardwood to connect the two. Make holes in the wood to mate the two pieces.

I just ordered one of these V27 Combos a couple of hours ago. Just to let you guys know, it says to give them a call when you go to order. Must be they are out of stock at this moment. But I was told they will ship early next week

Just run across it, looks similar to the initial posted miter gauge, but only $19.99.
$20 is just for the MiterMatic alignment jig. The Woodhaven Deluxe gauge is closer to $125 on sale. You're correct that it's very similar to the Jet in the initial post. I just read another post from someone who received their Jet, and the warranty is thru Woodhaven, which pretty much confirms that the Jet is made by WH.
