I first clicked on picture of coupon in the first post on this thread, then printed that, and got a coupon that is 5inches wide and 6 inches tall.

When I just print out the original message with coupon, the coupon comes out 2 1/2 inches wide and about 3 tall.

For those who have succsessfully used coupon, does HF want coupon a certain size to take it?
One of my posts in this thread said to email me for a larger pic, for printing easier.

I cleaned up the barcode part in photoshop and the coupon scanned fine when I used it yesterday. When I printed the coupon I made sure it printed 3" x 3". If you have the full size image from Ken, printing it at 39% results in the proper size for me.

I'll add my thanks to Ken also. I didn't get to buy anything big, just a tarp I'm afraid I'll need this week as I do some roofing repairs on the shop. It's supposed to rain at least 2 of the 3 days I'm taking vacation!
I printed the coupon for a couple guys at work, and none of us had any problems. The ones I printed at work were black and white! Jim.

Thanks Ken -- Went to use the coupon at the Muncie, Indiana store and the Manager said he had never seen a 30% off before. He thought the coupon was a fraud even though the check out girl said the computer took it. So he called his home office and checked it out then appoligized to me for questioning the coupon. He said he and his employees only get 20% off. Thanks again..............

Too bad no HF's in Mass. The closest one is in Albany, NY. It's like a 3-4 hour drive.

My sister lives in Atlanta, but we are not on speaking terms. There are a few things I would like to get with that coupon.

The only times I have been to a HF is when I travel to pick up my brother from college in Ithaca, NY or when I travel for an out of state wedding, or the last time I went to go see my sister about 2-3 years ago.

1.5 horse motor, a small trailer, dust collector, a few other items........
              Nailer, siding nailer.

              But.....Oh well.
              Maybe...........

Expires today, eh? At my skill level (and free time level) I can't think of anything I really need right now to take advantage of the coupon. If you had a BT3000, good router, OK miter saw, good compressor and finish nailers, is there anything you would run out and buy before 7pm today?

The only thing I've wondered about is a framing nailer since I want to build a shed/office in my backyard later this year. (Is the 6-in-1 the best HF option?)

Kinda wondering the same thing myself, trying to decide if it's worth the long drive today. The ad I received over the weekend also had a 28 deg. framing nailer, lot # 93760, for $80. Assuming it's the one on their website, it's a kit, and it can use full or clipped nails. I guess the biggest difference between this and the 6-in-1 is that it's 28 deg. fixed, instead of 21/28/34. Not sure if there's any difference in quality.

Edit: not sure if this is an indication of quality, but it says the 6-in-1 weighs 20 lbs while the other one says only 8.5 lbs

I shot a lot of nails with a HF framing nailer. Besides its considerable weight I felt it was an excellent nail gun. The one I bought is round head nails since there is no question about code compliance with round head.

I also have a 24 gauge pin nailer from HF. It needs to go back as it doesn't work very well. I can't drive 1" pins into walnut without them bending. Anyone else have that problem?

20lbs vs. 8.5lbs? There's gotta be a reason for such a difference, though I have no idea what that cost/benefit is.

I'm also rather confused about all the angle options. What is the value of 21 and 34 degrees versus 28 fixed? Also, I thought I noticed when I was in HF that the 6-in-1 only does clipped nails at 21 and 34.

Can anyone fill us in here?

                      Thx!

When I first got the pin nailer it seemed like it had a problem driving the pins but after adjusting the pressure on the compressor a little higher I've had no problems since.

I think I just answered my nail-type question: it looks like the nailer comes with some nails for all three angles, but only the 28s are full head. the nailer itself takes full head at all angles, hence the name 6-in-1 (3 angles times two nail types).

Soon to (almost) change. Rhode Island HF opens in late March.

I don' think I'm going to get a chance to go by HF today but if you happen to get one of these nailers, cold you let me/us know which one you got and if you like it? Thx.

A HF in Warwick RI? Thats 90 minutes away. I travel that far for Pizza in Amherst, MA. Antonio's. Best pizza this side of the Mississippi!
