I'm proud of myself for successfully resisting the urge to go find something that I "needed" to use the 30% coupon on. I think part of my success was due to my new band saw tires coming in and distracting me. This, by no means, indicates that I am cured. I'm Joe, and I'm a tool shopaholic. I'm seeking treatment so that I can deal with the next HF % off challenge.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), I didn't make it up to the HF store. As of this morning, I'm redirecting my tool lust to the Ridgid MSUV.

The MSUV is a good target. I really like mine. (I'm such and enabler.)

please BT3central users forgive my sins of gluttony, for I have used the 30% off coupon 5 times, and would have been six if i didn't run out of time.

To feed my need to own my own tools instead of borrow them, so that they may be kept in pristine condition, i have purchased a 1/2" right angle drill for stud boring, a sand blasting cabinet, a parts washing cabinet, blasting beads for the cabinet and a set of auger drill bits for the drill.

I can admit i have a problem, and will also admit that if another 30% comes up, I will not hesitate to use it on a new drill press, a larger compressor, and maybe even to save 2 bucks off the set of gnomes or electric fly swatters, making me appear even more glutenous to the employee who only gets 20% off!

Admitting it is the first step right!

LOL, if HF was a lot closer to me, I would probably have been able to say the same thing. As it was, I was only able to use it once, at the sidewalk sale. Actually, that's the only time I've been to HF in the past couple of years (I work from home, and have 3 year old and 1 year old girls).

I work from home with 9 and 1 y.o. girls and 6 and 4 y.o. boys. I love 'em to death, but this arrangement probably increases the number of trips I take to HF and HD.
