The sale starting tomorrow explains a comment by the clerk at the Nashville Borg. I took "We have a guy that comes in early at 5 AM to make any pricing updates. I don't know but it might change tomorrow" to be casual conversation. He also gave me a blank stare when I asked about their history of sales on Ridgid products in the March. Maybe he knew something and wasn't talking. Makes you feel really good after driving 30 miles each way specifically to spend money at HD.

Well, I got one in Dacula, GA even though everywhere else around here said it was $149. Price was $99 on the sticker. They had a few more left.Comment

I called the Louisville BORG and the guy who answered said the price was $149, down from $199. He then checked on the computer and noticed that there were another 22 coming in on order. So he went and scanned the floor model, or something like that, and came back and said, "Hey buddy you're right. These are $99 bucks." He also mentioned that they go one sale about once a year and this must be the sale for the year.Comment

They have about half a dozen in the Carson, Ca store for $99. If I didn't just get a couple of Herc-u-lifts for my planer (and a tool yet to be determined
) I would have gotten one myself. I've had one for my SCMS for a bit and concur with all the praises for it.

I just picked one up at the Schenectady store for $99. The price sticker said $149 and when I brought it to the register it rang up $149. She called the manager of the tool department over and I told him everyone else was selling them for $99, so he agreed to sell it to me for that price. I just got lucky because this store rarely honors other store prices.
I already have one MSUV for my miter saw and I love it. I wanted another for my planer and have been waiting for it to go on sale.TomComment

Got mine today at a different HD -- the guy at Home Depot said that this $99 price tends to happen about once a year as he has had one for over a year and he purchased it the last time it was $99.Comment

Edit: I posted a thread with a question about mounting my Bosch 4212L on the MSUV here (I originally posted it here, and decided to move it). Any opinions would be appreciated.Last edited by tohellwithuga; 02-24-2007, 09:14 PM.Comment

Thanks for the Tip!
Thanks for the tip to verify the price at check out. Got mine for $99 in Nashville. The $99 price is not posted anywhere in the store. The service desk's computer shows $149. They even called other stores who confirmed the $149. Persistance pays off!Mike GComment
