$199 doesn't seem to be the bargain of the year to me.

So what, does Amazon now let anyone sell on their site? I thought to be an amazon marketplace seller, you had to be a business or something- to ensure their validity. Now I'm kinda worried about all of the Amazon Marketplace purchases I've made...

The business selling it is "atlantatooldepot" which I guess is a business. My guess is it is a guy buying and reselling stuff. Get an order for DC, go to HF website order the unit for $150 and ship it to buyers address. $50 profit. Simple as that. As far as Amazon, I am sure they will take on anyone with a website and a dream. They get their 15% or whatever of the selling costs with no inventory costs, etc.

Edit : Did you see the reviews for the seller. What a nasty dude!

Doesn't sound like somebody I want to do business with.

Was at HF last night, DC on sale for $169.00. Get yourself a 20% off coupon (there is one floating around here). That will get your cost down to $135 +/- w/o tax, and you get to take it home.

I don't buy anything w/o looking on this forum. You can just about bet that some one knows where or how to get a "real" deal on WW tools.

OH NO! I didn't even look at what they were selling, I figured if Jeffrey considered it the "Amazon bargain of the year" than I couldn't go wrong, so I just order 2 of them without even paying attention.....ahhhhhh! LOL

Amazing!! Buys from HF on combined deals and resells to make a few $ .. Some people will be fooled. I'm surprised @ Amazon's looseness on this..

I am afraid that in a few years, you will not be able to tell the difference from E-Bay and Amazon Marketplace. They will be loaded with deals that are just a little too good to be true. You have got to be careful and a little bit lucky.
