Big Lots has a floor model drill press for $50 (reg $179 I think). The brand is benchpro, couldn't find any info off google.

If this is the one they've sold in the past you will find tons of posts regarding it right here. From what I remember, they sold two models. One for something like $29 and the other for $49. Search the bargain alerts from about a year or two ago, you'll find them.

if you think about buying one, check if it has plastic pulleys - those that did tended to run rough and vibrate and the pulleys broke in some of them.
