I see that the max height is 43 1/2". Is there a "minimum" height? Sorry for being lazy, but you may save me a trip. Thanks in advance.

Went to the local sears store. They don't even have it in stock. Just ordered two online and will pick up in store some time next week. If your local store is out of stock, just order online, they will deliever to local store in about 3 to 5 days. Thanks for the post.

Why is it that when you attempt to pay online, the price shows up as $29.99?

I noticed yesterday when I ordered online, it said thru Jan. 29. I assume that the online price of $14.99 only good till 29th. I think you can order it at your local sears, and the price is good till Feb. 3, it will still take a few days before it arrive. Good luck!

This link seems to be unavailable. Does anyone have information on the 10% off coupon?

                Junk.

I picked up two last night that I had ordered online. One had an opened box so I wanted to check it out right away to make sure there wasn't a problem. Turns out the opened one is identical to the unopened one, but...

This is what it looks like right out of the box:

(The BT3 is perfectly level, and the floor is pretty close to level.)

With some fiddling with the slop in the various joints I can reduce that angle by about half, but it's still too much, and I don't have any interest in fiddling with it every time I need to change the height.

                Anybody else have this problem?

You can also try this thread.

I haven't used the coupon and don't know how well it will work out. It SEEMS that it should work on anything you buy at sears.com, even if you pick it up in the store.

When I bought mine, I wondered what I would do if they weren't level. I decided I could get away with shimming the bottom of the stands for my situation. I just checked mine and they are level.

If your stand is like mine, there should be three punched holes where the bolt attaches the stand to the rollers, but only one goes all the way through. I would consider drilling the bottom hole completely, and then you will have room to tilt it. The only question is whether or not the weight of the load would pull it out of whack. If so, I'd probably shim the area where the rollers and stand come together.

Of course, the easiest solution in cases like this is often to exchange them.

I just bought 2 in the store. When i went to the cashier, the total came up to $60. So i ask him if they were on sale. The cashier said sale ended on the 29th. But he still gave me the 50% off because the 14.99 sale price was still on the rack. But he took it out when he saw the tag.

When i left i grabbed a circular whichit suppose to be on sale until feb 3.

some tool chest and cabinets were on sale, maybe up to 40% off. This was in Santa Clarita near the patio furnitures.

Thanks for the post. I grabbed the last two that my store had. They'll go well with the megabase I'm building, should be able to do a full sheet of ply in either rip or crosscut.

I just bought the last 2 in Parsippany, NJ Sears Essentials. They rang up at $15.00 each.

They had quite a few of the other model without the roller balls for $12.00 each with Craftsman club discount good thru Feb 3.

Sorry about your experience. Mine are fine. Looks like you just got a lemon. I guess i would exchange them and open them in store to play it safe. I think they would understand your frustration.

                            Good luck,
