Thanks for the post, I just picked one of these up. Awhile ago I bought one of their stands that just has the straight roller (but without the new edge guides that they've since added to that model which I don't need). I got it on sale back then, and they are also on sale again now for the same amount as this model. I've been wanting another stand for awhile now. This one is obviously more versatile with the flat support edge that I had always wished the other one had, and it has the multi-directional rollers. The quality is solid too. This is a great deal, I'm glad I waited.
I bought a couple of these back in the fall and they are a perfect companion to my Ryobi miter saw stand. They are sturdy, lightweight, and fold up flat for easy storage and transport. A great buy!

Nice find. I have a couple of these (not Craftsman). They are the best kind of roller stand. You can have ball bearings or roller or just a flat piece. The ball bearings work great. If you aren't 90 degrees to your feed it won't "pull" the stock off to one side. WDO
Just got back from Sears Cumberland Mall, Marietta, GA and you would have thought it was the weekend before Christmas...the parking lot was packed. Fortunately, not everyone was picking up a roller support stand. Interesting that the 3-way stand (roller, ball bearings, plain) is the same price as the roller only stand and the three-way has a much higher weight capacity rating. The feet adjusters are a little different, also. Couldn't justify the half price drill bits with the metal box, got too many bits already. Picked up some lightweight knee pads for 3 bucks on clearance...plenty of odds and ends with those little pink stickers. BTW, plenty of sales staff in the tool area...something I hadn't seen in the last few years.
Perfect timing for this post. I added an extension table to my TS and was looking for ideas on what kind of legs to use.
I bought a piano hinge / lockable leg stop at Rockler and a roller stand at Sears (I still need to route the miter slot extension slots):

I have another bad order extension table free for pick-up (I live in the Chicago area - PM me if interested).

There is also a rebate for 10% of entire purchase on sears.com - 11/28/06 - 02/28/07. It doesn't say anything about not being good for online purchases with in-store pickup. I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to work in Firefox for me, just IE or Opera.
Sears, Fredericksburg, VA - parking lot empty in front of store - but took last 3 (however, 1 for a woodworking friend I called from the store). We both say thanks for the post!
