Best Price on a HF BS?

I am considering getting a HF 14" BS. I see two listed on the site--one multiple speed ($290), one single speed ($260). Which one is the infamously popular one? Does anyone have links or ads with a lower price? I do have the 15% coupon in hand.

I miss the days of being able to play with the VGA #'s...

Seems like the 4-speed one was always on sale for $219 and later $229, but I haven't observed the prices lately, may be up to $239. But no one in the know ever paid full list price.

If you find a sale price this week then someone posted some HF 10 and 15% off coupons good thru new years in bargain alerts.

Yep, I was aware of that, but when I wasn't looking to buy one, I could find that price listed everywhere. Now That I am ready to buy, naturally I can't find it.

Isn't there a link to the ads they run in magazines? I thought someone posted a AmWood ad link on HF's site...

There was talk about the HF DC / American Woodworker discount, see link below. Might work with BS, try different VGA #'s, worst you lose is a few minutes of your time.
