Triton 3 1/4 Hp Plunge Router $209

Woodcraft is selling the 2 1/4 model with over $100 of free accessories. Is only Woodcraft doing that, or is everyone. Read as is Woodcraft including the accessories, or Triton USA including the accessories? Or am I not understanding something? Also was wondering who is all selling them, maybe a vendor that was not mentioned yet.

Woodcraft is promoting it like that. It's the same "accessories" from all vendors...Amazon, Woodcraft, Intl tool, etc... (the 2 1/4 comes in a case that includes the "extra's" which aren't really extras since their standard and you can't buy just the router w/o them.

appears that the offer with addition items is on Amazon too, not for $209 though, but $213.72 with free shipping

Just to be clear, Amazon is selling the 2 1/4 hp router for 213.72. The $209 price in the original post is for the 3 1/4 hp router from International Tool. Amazon sells that model for $269.

As for my great next purchase (with Christmas money), I decided on this router (the 3 1/4 hp model) over a new jointer for now. As much as I want a jointer, I know I will get more use out of this router and my 1 3/4 hp PC has about seen it's last days and never really had enough umph to start with. I'll post initial impressions when it arrives from International Tool. I think I want to hold out for an 8" jointer anyway (instead of 6") which is about 4 times more money than I got for Christmas.

Just received this from International Tool on the order of the 3.25 HP Triton. They state the item is no longer being manufactured! I don't believe this as I have spoke with folks at WC and Ray here online. What a bunch of nits!
