Variable Speed Rotary Tool, Flexible Shaft with Stand, and more $22.00

OK, don't trash it. It's not quality, but serviceable for those of us who don't use one much.

That does look interesting. I like the 3 jaw chuck. I might get one. Thanks for the post.

I wouldn't get too excited about the three-jawed chuck.

I think this is a Dremel tool knockoff in which case the "chuck" is not really an adjustable chuck like on a drill but a collet which accepts fixed (in this case 1/8") shaft and is able to tighten down on them with a three-way split collet and a collar. It's not a true chuck which accepts a wide range of shaft sizes for drill bits and the like. A true chuck they usually specify the max opening.

You're probably right Loring, it says 3 jaw chuck in the listing but it looks like a collet. I've ordered one, I'll let you know.

I got for $19.27 [friday sale] and it qualifies for free shipping.

I got a real similar 100 pc rotary tool set for about the same price last year at Sams Club. It comes in handy once in a blue moon, but was still worth it. The little cut off disc are great.

I got it - well worth the price. Nicely made. It has 3 collets not a three jaw chuck.

Check your Dremel aisle in the stores. They did have a three jaw chuck for their tools at one time. I have one. Very useful.

i guess a few people buy the thing and they automatically raise the price.
at $25 its still decent but 19 was sure prettier

i was actually hoping to buy about 10 of them for teaching workshops i do.
i'll let it wait,no classes scheduled for a while

well it was worth the wait.
the thing dropped to $15 so i bought 10 a few weeks ago. now it's up to 25 again

using frozenwarrior.com to track price-drops works like a charm!
