This sounds pretty strange to me. I received a Craftsman Club flyer that advertised the 22114 for $549 from Oct. 22 - 28th.

I am still waiting on a CC mailing that is advertising the 22124 for $799 from Nov 5 - 11th.

Another forum member mentioned that he had seen the new flyer at a Sears store in Georgia, but I have yet to see it here in N.C.

Is anyone aware of a different pricing structure depending on your place of residence? (I suppose anything is possible. May have to arrange a trip to Georgia to pick up the 22124 at that price!)

I saw Sears commercial last night offering a 10% discount, even on sale items, for using your Sears credit card....net price should = ~$720 for C-Club members using their Sears card.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

        Sorry Guys,

The mailman just dropped of the Craftsman Club flyer for 11/5 - 11/11 and the 22124 is in there for $799! (and 22114 for $539)

Now if I can just get that additional 10% off thingy, that 22124 at $720 is not such a bad deal!

Then you will start getting the flyer in the mail. I just called this number and was told this info. The next sale is on Nov. 5-11. She said if you go to store and tell them you just signed up they might give you the discount, but it is up to the store until you get your member card. BTW, no planer in the current flyer. Seems like there sales are starting to be less of a discount. The 22124 saw is only discounted to $800 for member price. Most of us got it for less than that a year or two ago.
Good luck with your search for a deal on a planer.
I saw a couple of other tidbits which say craftsman club no longer has any links online which portends badly for its future. I could not find the old craftsman website (now just points to sears.com) nor a link to the Cratsman club at sears.com. probably a conspiracy by K-Mart.

Thanks. I called tonight, and they read the script to me exactly as in the quote, about the "6-8 weeks" before you get the card.

I hate that you have to go thru the steps to checkout to see the discount, if you do not have a flyer. If you call CC they can tell you the discount on an item. Lately no great discounts like in the past. The Marthamart take over seems to focus on non tool sales.
If you make a login acct. @ sears.com, then at least you do not have to enter more info such as that silly CC#.

Anyone tried to combine that 10% credit card offer with the Craftsman club discounts yet?
A small bandsaw is in my future but I can wait for a better deal then the $239 I think.
