Wilton mini lathe at Menards $70

I was at Menards this weekend and there was an "unadvertised special" of the Wilton mini lathe for $70. Here is a link the the one at amazon:

This is a great deal. I may be able to replace the one I sold. Thanks for the heads up.

I was at menards the other day and saw a box that I swear said Performax on it, with a that same lathe on it. No price on the shelf and didn't have time to ask or look into it further. Has anybody used one of these, worth the money savings over say a Jet VS?

Wilton is made by the same company (WMH Group) that makes Powermatic and Jet products.

this thing any good??? i've had my eye on the jet midi for about 3 years, but it's now selling for about 300$$

70 sounds like a better deal.
