looks like a fairly limited assortment of routers will fit the plate. any experience with the compatability of routers to "universal" plates, even if not specifically listed? I own a DW 621 plunge router, and its eccentrically placed base may be difficult to match.

I s'pose I could drill and counter sink custom holes, but I imagine precise placement over the center of the hole in the plate is rather important.

This table is a good one. you have to call direct to amazon to get the discount price, i just did this. i tried several times online. at this price you cannot miss.

Anyone know if my big green monster Hitachi will fit? Their webpage lists the M12VC but not the M12V?

I noticed that the savemore code isn't working as well. Did notice that you also get an additional 10% amazon tool discount. So without the savemore it's $131.12. The additional $25 should bring it down to $106.12.

I'd give them a call. That's what I'll be doing if I can verify that my router will fit.

I thought that maybe they on this item they figured the discounted price thus not exceeding $150. I tried adding item to get over $150 and SAVEMORE still would not apply.

It will take some luck on the phone getting 20%, 10% and $25 SAVEMORE. You may have to call a couple times and speak to different people. Then again, it may not work at all. Good luck!

I ordered this via the web site and although it states on the web page that the 10%+20%+$25 SAVEMORE should all apply, they refuse to do so. I've sent several messages and gotten a different story/price each time. The best they've done so far is the 10%+20% off for a total of $131.12. If I can't get them to fix it before I receive it, I'm just going to refuse it. My original invoice shows the correct promotional descriptions, but a $0.00 amount for the 20OFFACC code. After the 3rd email, they agreed to apply the 20OFFACC discount, but took away the $25 SAVEMORE. Clearly they have a bait and switch going on with the 20OFFACC code items.

How do you interpret the part that says "Offer may not be combined with other offers, including promotional certificates. "? Seems pretty clear to me.

The restrictions on my computer read as follows "• Some promotional certificates and offers may not be combined with other claim code-based offers." But in my opinion when you checkout and they show that the discounts are being applied to your order, and then they remove them when they charge your card is classic bait and switch.

Also, when you click the link for the 20OFFACC promotion, the top of each page shows the SAVEMORE promotion. Maybe we just have differing opinions on the subject, but when the web page show a promotion, it appears in my cart as checkout, and then is removed when my card is charged is just not right. It's Amazon's screw up and I can return the item at their expense, so I guess I'm just not that concerned about it.

If they are showing the discounts on the checkout page and then charging your card a different amount, then you have a valid complaint.

                          I got it!

Thanks to all for pointing this deal out to me. I was able to purchase the Freud FT1700VCEK 2 1/4 HP Variable Speed Fixed Base Router and the BOSCH RA1181 Router Table for the combined price of $240.72 shipped. I had to call the order in, and I ordered each separately, but I got $25.00 off the Freud with SAVEMORE and 30% off the Bosch for 20OFFACC (20% plus 10%).

                          FREUD:
                          Item(s) Subtotal: $152.10
                          Shipping & Handling: $13.40
                          Super Saver Discount: $-13.40
                          Promotional Certificate: $-25.00
                          Total Before Tax: $127.10
                          Estimated Tax: $0.00
                          Grand Total: $127.10

                          BOSCH:
                          Item(s) Subtotal: $162.31
                          Shipping & Handling: $25.29
                          Super Saver Discount: $-25.29
                          Promotional Certificate: $-32.46
                          Promotion Applied: $-16.23
                          Total Before Tax: $113.62
                          Total for this Shipment: $113.62

I usually check here when it's time to buy, and even though I don't often post, I watch! Thanks again.

Congrats on the table and the router combo!! For that price you can't beat the value per dollar.

I want to extend my apologies to all that experienced issues getting the deal on this table.

I only got it for $131, but that is still a decent deal. I got the deal on the Bosch 1617 router kit that should fit nicely. It doesn't look like the M12V will fit it too well. I might just sell that router. Anyhow, thanks for the thread!
