OMG! I can't believe it! I think I owe you a dinner if I am ever in IL. I don't even get, it , truthfully, because a main part of the price was the 20% paint supply credit, which is long over. That is virtually equal to the new price drop (actually a little higher). But I'm not arguing.

They did say it will take a couple of days to appear on my CC statement, so I hope that doesn't mean that it is not a done deal.

How did you do the math. $430-50=$380, not $275?

Sorry! You would have to read the very first post of this thread to understand how this item went all the way down to $275.00.. Certainly if you are just buying it now there is no way to get it down to $275.00. This is for the people that bought it a week ago.

Lucky that they apply the 20% too since that seems odd that they did not PM the actual total price paid after all the discounts which is what I have experienced in the past. Seems odd.
          Glad you got that price.

I agree that it is odd. But it is absolutely true. I just got the confirmation e-mail. I suspect that they weren't sharp enough to notice, since the credit is applied by hand by someone who just looked back and compared the past and current selling price. So Shadowfax got very lucky, and I was double lucky for having the same experience from amazon and secondly by being tipped off by Shadowfax.
