    clamps, must have more clamps

Alright, we have all seen good bessey deals, but this one looks really good.

Bessey, 4 pack with the little blocks for $110 at amazon. BUT WAIT. If you buy two sets, you get $25 off and they have the 10% off deal. And free shipping.

    so, 110 x 2 = 220 - 25=195 less 10% = $176 for 8 clamps = $22.00

Try to beat that delivered to the door.

    Happy hunting

Oh, I can beat the pants off that.
Bought 8 sets of the 2450s and 5 sets of the 2440s. More than doubled my money on resell on ebay and got to keep a few sets of KP Blocks that I really needed. (The price you have currently is decent, just not worthy of challenging this forum! LOL!)

Don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but I don't see what all the hoopla on Bessey clamps is about. I have some, and I am not that thrilled with them. Sure, they are good clamps, but I don't see that they are that much better than some lesser priced clamps out there.
I have a bunch of the Jorgensen f-clamps (not the Cabinet Master) and probably ten of the Columbian F-type (the same style as the Jorgy's) and absolutely love them. They are massive, a real hand ful, and do a great job. The only thing I can't do that the Besseys can is: sit on edge when something is clamped up. Plus, I get several for the price of one Bessey. (Just call me cheap)

JMO, don't mean to offend anyone. I love the Bessey's, the Gross Stabil's, and all clamps in general

What I like about the besseys are that the parts that come into contact with the work piece are parrallel to each other. I noticed with the F style clamps they sometimes tend to shift while the glue sets. Just my 2 cents.

Last weekend at Menards (midwest), I bought a 2 36" inches, 2 24" clamps - Wilton supergrip for 4.99$ each. 2 18" for 3.99, and some mini clamps for 2$ each. These clamps are very nice. It was an excellent deal since the normal price on these are between 16 and 20$. I have become a clampoholic now. A

Ya, for random clamping I like the $4 HF Aluminum bar clamps. But for table top glue ups, door frames, etc I just really get a lot of mileage out of parallel clamps (Bessy, Jorg, Gross). HF has come out with one as well, however it seems to not be in stores only online and prices are great compared to the thievery prices you can get at Amazon.

I am a newbee. I have built nothing till now and keep buying clamps afer clamps. Hopefully soon. First, I have to finish laying 1200 sqft of hardwood flooring, then comes the clamp usage.

Shoot, just glue up your flooring into 3 ft wide panels thus giving you a chance to use your clamps. Probably squeak less too! LOLOLOL!

They were discovered in a flyer and reported on this site, in this forum about a couple of months ago. They were too high, but if they go on typical HF sale then they may become good buys.
