    Last Chance

I have one 3/32" thin kerf blade left. I will be ordering more on Monday for stock so anybody that can get to me before then I will get one for. After Sunday at midnight, the deal will be over for thin kerf.

Regular kerf I still have some so I will extend and advise when that is over.

Thanks all who participated. You are getting a great blade at a great price.

Last 3/32" kerf is gone. If anybody still wants one, place the order and I'll order more on Monday. The website will still accept orders.

Actually, with the holiday I'll order Wed. so you have until midnight Tuesday to get the order in.

      Thanks again.

Taunton/Fine Woodworking did a review of this blade by cutting maple and machine measuring the smoothness of the cut. It was rated good on the rip cut and very good on the cross cut. While it was no Forrest WWII, which measured excellent on both, it was up there with the good blades.

That comparison was 4 years ago IIRC. I've owned both and put the TS2000 and the WWII side by side on my saw and found the TS2000 to be at least as clean cutting as my beloved Forrest...both did well, and both are incredibly versatile. It was actually difficult to tell the cuts apart....glad I marked them! My tests are undoubtedly not overly scientific, but I did my best. Of the 20 or so blades I've tried, none are more versatile than the WWII and TS2000, and only a $90 Freud F810 80T Hi-ATB melamine specialty crosscut blade cut cleaner.

In any comparison like the one FWW did there are always unaddressed variables even when they try to control as many as possible. It can be hard to tell how much of a factor random blade to blade variability plays...would a different example of each model yield different results? How do they quantify the difference between "good", "very good", and "excellent"? Has the technology and the designs changed enough since the test that those results are no longer reflective of each model as it's sold today? I know that the Freud F410 has undergone improvements since that comparison...its likely others have too. Any, I guess my point is than no comparison test like this is absolute truth. Regardless, at this performance level we're nearly splitting hairs ...bottom line is that you should be getting a really nice blade capable of good quality cuts in a wide range of materials that very few blades can match.

                Which one to use???

I couldn't decide between the thin or regular blade...so when all else fails buy both. Order sent this morning. Thanks Brian.

Anyone else get their blades yet? I ordered mine (an 1/8" kerf) 2 weeks ago and my card was charged the same day, but I still haven't received my blade.

I received mine within a week...

Ordered 3/32 kerf and 36-bit set on 6/30, received them on 7/6 in NJ

Did you talk to Brian about it?

Not yet. I ordered on 6/30 too and I didn't know if with 4th of July+Free shipping+FL ---> MI in under 2 weeks was asking too much. I guess I'll drop Brian a note and see if he has any info.

                      Thanks,

                      Ryan

Here is the story for all you waiting for blades.

As I indicated I ran out of them so I had to order more. I didn't want to cut the offer short being so many of you were interested.

I went to order them July 5th only to find out Ridge was closed the whole week. So, I emailed them to send me some 1/8" kerf and thin kerf blades. The 1/8" kerf arrived yesterday and the thin kerf did not. I called over to Ridge to find out he thought I wanted a 12" thin kerf blade and not 12 thin kerf blades. He even went as far as ordering a special blank being a 12" thin kerf is not a standard blade. An obvious communication error.

All the 1/8" kerf blades shipped today and tracking numbers will go out in a bit. Unfortunately the thin kerf blades are not shipping to me until today so I will have them Wednesday most likely. He only has 7 in stock which will leave 2 of you waiting a little longer and I will advise who those 2 are in an email. It's first come first served.

I appologize for the delay, I didn't expect having to wait so long to place the order and then having it messed up. This is truly a no profit deal for me and I extended it due to interest from you folks. If anyone doesn't want to wait, I will refund your payment. If you can hang in there a little longer you will get your blade.

                          Thanks for understanding.

                          Brian
