I remember now. Yes they were that price but shipping was charged. For some areas, shipping can be more than 10 bucks for that set.

Ridge makes a host of blades but they don't have them on their website and I don't stock them. I gave away my only catalog so I can't say exactly what they offer in 80T.

They do make their RS1000 miter saw blade in 60T and 80T. It is a miter saw blade because of the -5 degree rake. I have 2 of the 60T that I never put up for sale if you wanted one but they are $75 delivered and that's a pass along price. This should work well with the negative rake on melamine and plywood.

What I can offer is a Tenryu blade. I will be ordering again soon and can add one for you. I would recommend their IL-25580H1 80T HATB grind melamine blade. The HATB is the best grind for melamine. That blade would be $69 delivered and it is a nice industrial quality blade.

Ridge, Forrest, and Freud are among many of the top manufacturers who will recommend the TK for a saw that size. Ridge Carbide goes as far as to say you don't need a stabilizer for it. I'll go as far as to say I've never seen an improvement from a stabilizer and have never seen a need for one with a good TK, although some manufactures prefer the conservative approach and the added profit of recommending one.

I have yet to find a BT3central forum participant who said the stabilizers helped any

After missing a few *great* deals from Amazon, if I'm interested but haven't decided to pull the trigger, I'll go ahead and buy it. I normally have a few days to cancel the order if I decide it's not what I need.

I've found that some deals only last a few hours -- not days. I now have less regrets -- and less money .

Well I went the other way and ordered the 1/8” kerf. What pushed me into this was the square teeth as it will help me with my spines and square kerf blades are getting tough to find. Thanks for the deal Brian I ordered mine online this morning from you.

I just ordered the 3/32" thin kerf blade. Unless I missed something, it also appears to have 5 square teeth like the 1/8" blade.

That's correct. Only difference is the kerf thickness.
