I'm guessing that these items that increased in price were on "weekend sale" but I don't remember for sure. Anyone know?

The link I provided is not for "Weekend Sale" rather it is "Inventory Reduction - Save Up to Additional 30%". The link is supposed to take you to seasonal overstocks per Amazon. WHen you follow the link you will see that Amazon has coded all these clearance item with "summercuts" search function. WHen you click on the link, look at what is in the search function of the results page. I have no idea why items in this segement would be going up, except that they have not disabled the dynamic pricing function of their pricing system. If you have shopped at Amazon a lot you will see that as item sales slow the price goes down, once it has hit a low people start buying them up and the price rises. Pretty good system for Amazon. Tricky for us bargin hunters.
