My guess is it will never go through since it is a third party vendor. They have a tendency to check these things more closely. But, hey nothing ventured . . .
Edit : Placed order. We'll see if it goes through. I seriously doubt it being from 3rd party vendor who has had 1 sale on Amazon per reviews.
REedit : I believe this order will ship but it will be 1 blade instead of 10. Of course I will call Amazon and have them honor the conditions of the sale or return at their cost. When I got the confirmation, the item title is so long it just happens to cut the last part of the item off . . . .- 10pk .
The order went through and I received a message saying that the item has been shipped (in transit).
One peculiar observation, the item description has changed from "Bosch CB740AB10 7 1/4" 40T 20-Degree Hook Angle Finishing Circular Saw Blade - 10 pack" to " Bosch CB740AB10 7 1/4" 40T 20-Degree Hook Angle Finishing Circular Saw Blade". They omitted the "10 pack" part of the description. But if you notice the item number "CB740AB10" the last two digits "10" means it's a 10 pack. So according to the item number it's a 10 pack, the description states it's not.
I plan on contacting Amazon if I don't get what I ordered, otherwise they should refund me everything including shipping.
I sent Amazon an email, haven't heard back yet. I also talked to them and they said to contact Worktough.com at sales@worktough.com or 1877-662-6250.
I have not contacted WT yet. If anyone does, please let us know what they say.
Btw, the trailing "10" does seem to makes sense to indicate the 10-pack. However, notice how Amazon lists BOTH the 10-pack & 2-pack using same designation. I believe this is the source of the problem:

But we didn't receive 2 packs. I ordered (4) 10 pk and got (4) single blades.
I haven't called Amazon yet, but I believe this is an issue they should deal with not WT. WT did not sell the 10 pk, Amazon did. They collected the money, posted the pricing, etc.
I did notice that the "-10 pk" was not listed on the order confirmation, as it seems the item description length is too long. If WT got the same thing I did, then I can see where they shipped the 1 blade v. 10 blade.
Please let us know what you found out. I have not had time to call them yet.
Thanks!
Yeah, I only meant that Amazon is not correctly distinguishing 1 blade from 2 from 10. Though they now have the 1 blade w/ correct model no., I think I saw it w/ "10" designation in the past.. could be wrong tho. But the "10" does indeed mean 10-pack as can be seen clearly written on blade itself! So Amazon & WT should have known even w/ 10-pack clipped from the description.
yeah, what you really have to do to make sure Amazon doesn't pull the rope ou t from under you is to print off the product page, and to print off your cart showing the ten-pack, so you can send them that info when you get your blade(s)

Jeffery,
I remember this deal when it was posted and it was in fact sold by WT and not Amazon. WT is a private seller on Amazon and they are the ones that made the mistake. Amazon does in fact collect the money from the buyer and then transfers it to the seller. Amazon takes 15% from the total in order for the private seller to list products to sell. You can call Amazon on this but you will end up having to deal with WT on this as they are the ones that sold the blades to you.
Just received my order today. They only sent me one blade.
I'm kind of pissed off since I spent 10 bucks on shipping and they put the blade in some cheesy cardboard envelope. Even if I return the blade, they won't refund me the shipping fees either.

I understand that the product is owned and shipped by WT, however I disagree that they are the ones who sold it. I guess instead of saying Amazon sold it I could say they "marketed" it? Any way you look at it Amazon listed the WT's single blade price as the 10 pk price. Since WT has no control over Amazons site, I believe this to be Amazons error.

I sell on Amazon and your statement is not correct. As a seller you have complete control on what you list and sell via Amazon marketplace. You can list items at will (if you have the correct Amazon Seller subscription) and you can also sell you items under any item currently listed on Amazon.
Take a look at this ad and you will notice this statement under product details "This page was created by a seller." This means that a seller created this ad, not Amazon. Since it has been created, Amazon and another seller decided to list under it. Also, WT no longer sells under this offering.
Here is what I think took place.
~ A seller created this ad (don't know if it was WT or another seller, but it was not Amazon
~ WT did not read the ad details correctly and listed one blade price under the 10 blade price offering
~ Order was placed and WT sent one blade
~ WT knew there was a problem and removed their listing from the ad
You can try the Amazon route and I hope you are able to get somewhere. Just shedding some light on 3rd party sellers on Amazon as I know they are misunderstood in general.
