I found the best price for square drive pocket hole screws was the 1000 count Kregs and Amazon. They were even less expensive than McFeelys, though I believe I have heard that McFeelys makes the screws for Kreg.
Discount codes and free shipping at Amazon = good deal on pocket hole screws.

I already looked into that...They do exist down there and the prices are the same or just a tiny bit more.
Kind of a kick though, eh?
What we take for granted here is a specialty item in the US.
I cringe when I see phillips head screws. Slotted...forget about it. In the trash.

It effectively doubles the cost for a box of screws.

Maybe if I bought 10 boxes at a time...
If you're just buying a box or two, probably. I usually add a box of screws to a larger order of other products if I'm not quite up to the shipping cut-off. For example, if shipping is $5.95 for orders totalling $1.00-$15.00, and my order only totals $10.00, then I'll add a box/bag of screws and figure shipping is essentially free for the screws.

someone here recently posted a link to a neat little site that helps you find those last little items to reach the shipping cutoff when shopping on Amazon.

Drywall screws are not wood screws

Phillips go straight in the garbage for me as well. Other than drywall screws, not as much hole to cover with phillips there. I had enough bad experiences with phillips screws on old Japanese motorcyles that I never want to see one again. A phillips screw OR an old jap motorcycle....LOL! I absolutely cannot imagine doing a deck with phillips screws! Talk about an excersize in frustration!
