I ordered the portable Freud router table at the same time to use the $25 off $199 coupon code. The table is shipping between 4/26 and 4/28. The router between 4/26 and 6/9. Nice range.

They prorated the discount across each item, so if they cancel the router I should still get the $12.27 off the table I hope.

For any of you that ordered this router and were waiting, hoping that Amazon wouldn't cancel the order, don't give up. I ordered one on 4/19 and they listed an estimated shipping date of 5/22 - 6/07. I got the notice that it shipped yesterday, and it arrived today. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but it looks like a fantastic tool. This makes four routers for me, and I plan to set it up in my router table. It should handle large bits OK.

I would check out Lowes for a FT 2200 @ $129.00 over a refurb models at $119. Warranty is much better!

Does this router have above-the-table height adjustment? (similar to PC890, etc.) Or, does one need to use a lift to raise/lower the bit with this router?

My local Lowes had a few last night for $129. It was hard to pass up, but I decided to get more info before purchasing.

Most,but not all of the time it is just a return. It cannot be sold as new since it may have been used. Most agree it is usually a good way to get a quality tool.

Just a follow up here. This router took FOREVER to arrive. I kept waiting for the Amazon note saying they had run out of stock or something. Literally took five months to get in stock and get shipped. But it arrived last week just as promised, so if you ordered one, hang in there.
